As a Compliance Auditor(Inside IR35) your main key responsibilities would be to:

 

Successfully deliver audits and advisory reviews that meet audit objectives, whilst managing client expectations.

 

Complete planning of the audit inclusive of discussion with Clients to agree the scope and timing.

 

Assessing, testing and evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of risk controls, recommending practical and cost-effective actions for improvement of the risk management process and internal control environment.

 

Undertake audits and deliver the Functional Audit Programme. Verify the effectiveness of the audit framework and support the delivery of improvements where identified.

The Compliance Auditor role is integral to the completion of the annual assurance programmes relating to the delivery of the Southern Audit Programme and the Management Self-Assurance Audit programme of works.

Drafting and agreeing the audit report with the Client and audits.

 

Essential:

  • International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) qualified
  • Experienced in quality and management systems
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal, influencing, communication and organisation skills.

 

Desirable:

  • Good understanding of the railway industry
