CK Group are recruiting for a Compensation specialist (HR) to join a global pharmaceutical company, based in Chester on a contract basis for 11 months.
Salary:Hourly 22.00 per hour PAYE
Senior Specialist - Compensation role: - Conduct and participate in Annual Salary Surveys (Compensation Surveys - local & regional)
- Interpret salary data and perform analyses to ensure competitive positioning within the market and apply knowledge of business and industry best practice to provide feedback to the COE including on regularly scheduled competitive pay reviews for select groups of employees (eg key/top talent, critical skills)
- Propose updates to salary ranges and hiring guidelines if applicable
- Execute and support on annual programs (ie Annual Compensation Planning)
- Research, problem solve and respond on issues related to compensation programs, objectives and procedures raised by employees, HR and third-party vendors
- Provide reporting and analytics support to Total Rewards (Service Delivery Management, Centers of Excellence) for annual activities eg mandatory and annual Collective Agreement increases, off-cycle salary reviews, etc. and projects
Your Background: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college
- In depth experience and expertise in Compensation Operations
- Practical operational experience of other HR processes, eg, talent acquisition, payroll, performance
- Experience working within an HR Shared Services delivery model
- Experience working in a rapid, fast-moving environment which is both complex and changing
- General knowledge and understanding of HR policies, processes, regional Employment Laws and total rewards legislative requirements for the relevant region
- Experience working in a multi-cultural/multi-country work environment
- Ability to use business judgment when assessing requirements and performance, in order to identify the right solution to meet business needs
