Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse - NHS

A local NHS Trust we are currently working with are seeking a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join their Older Adult Mental Health team in North Kensington.

Team: Older Adult Mental Health Team

Pay rate:  28 p/h (potentially negotiable depending on experience)

Contract: 3-month initial contract with potential for extension

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00

Location: Community based in North Kensington

Key responsibilities will be:

• Manage a defined caseload of service users living in the community who have a range of complex mental health needs.
• Undertake holistic community assessments of service users referred to using Risk Assessment tools, Mental State examination, and integrated clinical notes system.
• Ensure the mental health needs of older people referred to the CMHT are appropriately assessed and a high level of quality care is delivered within available resources.
• Provide support and advice to users, carers, and other professionals on mental health issues relating to older people.

To be eligible for these positions, you will need to be a registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC pin and have experience working in the community.
