PURPOSE:
The Community Engagement Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering positive relationships between the development project and local residents, key stakeholders, and the broader community. This position is responsible for maintaining open lines of communication, organizing community events, and ensuring the efficient operation of the project office.


KEY RESULT AREAS:


1. Central Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, promptly and professionally addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback.


2. Newsletter Management: Assist in producing the monthly construction newsletter and e-newsletter, including content creation, design management, and distribution coordination.


3. Website Content: Update and create engaging content for the Mindenhurst website to keep the community informed.


4. Community Events: Coordinate and attend community events to promote a sense of community and engagement among residents and stakeholders.


5. Notification of Works: Prepare and distribute Notification of Works letters to residents, ensuring they are informed about nearby construction activities.


6. Team Wellbeing: Support and arrange team wellbeing initiatives to enhance the overall working environment.


7. Constructors Visits: Coordinate and prepare for Considerate Constructors Visits, including compiling the CCS report and project presentation.


8. Office Management: Maintain the site office to high standards, ensuring that all staff have necessary equipment and facilities for their roles.


9. Office Supplies: Manage office ordering and IT equipment maintenance, including stationary, consumables, and catering when required.


10. Meeting Coordination: Liaise with internal and external parties to facilitate meetings and manage the meeting room schedule for the office.

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:


Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe InDesign would be advantageous.
Effective multitasking and prioritization abilities.
Efficient problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Proven experience in both teamwork and individual work.
