VIQU has partnered with a leading consultancy who deliver critical projects in energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing, with this role being part of the nuclear team.
Our client is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of an ongoing project which has passed the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) phase, with the installation of control system hardware onsite in progress.
The successful candidate will work alongside the project team to conduct the necessary testing for site commissioning, and will lead the Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
Please note that the successful Commissioning Engineer must hold active SC Clearance as well as a UK Passport. This role requires travelling to France and working away from home.
Key skills & responsibilities for the Commissioning Engineer:
- Experience working with the following control system components:
- Allen Bradley CompactLogix Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
- Allen Bradley Flex I/O
- Allen Bradley PanelView Plus Performance Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
- Allen Bradley Stratix Network Switches
- Allen Bradley PLX51 Datalogger
- Inficon Pressure Transmitter Devices on DeviceNet network
- Strong background and experience with:
- PLC Ladder Logic programming (Rockwell Studio 5000)
- Inter PLC communications configuration
- HMI system design and configuration (Rockwell FactoryTalk View Studio ME)
- Rockwell RSNetworx for DeviceNet and Ethernet Networks
- Producing site Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
- General site health and safety
