Our client, a market leading business in a competitive sector, with an impressive reputation for retention and reward, is looking to hire a confident Commercial Finance Analyst to join its team on an initial 12 month contract. This is a rare non-BAU role that would be ideal for a bright and ambitious Analyst looking to leverage some existing analysis skills in a more commercial and dynamic role.

Although a contract initially, there is a high probability of becoming a permanent role, where future development will be available for those who are keen to add value and fit well with the team dynamic.

Main duties include:
* Business partner with marketing teams
* Responsibility for periodic analysis of branded performance, with clear and effective communication to senior leadership teams
* Working closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to provide challenge, understanding and insight into the forecasting process
* Evaluating new business cases
* Building key relationships cross-functionally
* Ad hoc analysis and support as required

Key skills & experience required:
* Solid analysis experience gleaned in a fast-paced environment
* Studying towards ACCA/CIMA
* Confident working with senior stakeholders and challenging where necessary
* Exceptional organisation skills and the ability to adapt to an agile environment
* Clear commercial acumen, capable of understanding and explaining key business drivers
* Strong communication skills and a natural relationship-builder
