Job Description: A Cloud Product Manager with a strong technical understanding of AWS is required to oversee the vision and quality of technical products. The role involves engaging teams and stakeholders, leading product roadmaps, and utilizing user feedback for continuous improvement. This position is initially for 6 months and requires occasional on-site meetings in London. The candidate must adhere to GDS principles throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forming the vision for the product(s) and engaging teams and stakeholders in its development.
  • Leading the production of roadmaps, release plans, and lifecycle plans for product delivery and maintenance.
  • Managing the product lifecycle from discovery to retirement.
  • Representing users and focusing on their needs throughout the delivery process.
  • Using product usage data and user feedback to generate new ideas and promote evidence/data-driven design.

Skills Required:

  • Strong technical understanding of AWS.
  • Experience in product management and lifecycle management.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of GDS principles.
  • Data-driven mindset for continuous improvement.

Salary (Rate): £600 daily

Cloud Product Manager - AWS

A Product Manager is needed. You will have a strong technical understanding of AWS as a product and able to follow GDS principles. You will be responsible for the overall vision and quality of a set of the technical products being delivered.

Responsibilities include:
* Forming the vision for the product(s) you own and engage teams and stakeholders in the development of that vision over time
* Leading the production of roadmaps, release plans and lifecycle plans for the delivery and maintenance of the product(s) from inception through to retirement
* Taking a product through its lifecycle (e.g. discovery, alpha, beta, live)
* Representing users and focus on their needs throughout the delivery process
* Taking the lead in using product or service usage data, and user feedback to devise new ideas for functionality or new ways of working with a continuous improvement mindset and take a lead in promoting such evidence/data driven design across the wider department

The role is for 6 months initially based from home with one meeting on site in London every couple of months.
