This role at Jumar is a full time permanent role to start in February/March 2024.

We are seeking a Cloud Designer to join a thriving and expanding team to help drive the adoption of Azure across IT solutions through the application of deep, hands-on architectural expertise and guidance.
In this position you will:
- Maintain end-to-end low-level technical system designs and best practices design patterns for our client's Public Cloud that meet Business Objectives.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Public Cloud Infrastructure requirements are understood and translated in to appropriate best practice design patterns
- Design, create, control and evaluate technical component designs and enforce the integrity of the end-to-end solutions throughout the delivery life cycle ensuring any solutions are fit for purpose
- Consult, advise, challenge and provide deep architectural expertise and guidance to senior business stakeholders on Azure across IT solutions and influencing more widely to support and drive cloud adoption
- Assist in the creation of high-level Public Cloud architectural solutions and blueprints including design governance submissions relating to Public Cloud components
- Provide 3rd/4th line operational support of projects consuming Public Cloud services including acceptance into service activities to handover new developments into support
- Serve on project, technology, and solution review boards to ensure all Public Cloud documentation and designs are in line with current internal standards, roadmaps, and frameworks
- Demonstrable experience of working in DevOps/Agile teams with experience of DevOps tooling and implementing DevOps Tool Chains
- Strong understanding of and experience in delivering world class operational support and incident resolution in both on premise and Cloud based environments
- Experience in a Financial Services, insurance, investments and or pensions environment
- Effective internal and external, including third party supplier and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to effectively plan and deliver complex activities Ability to troubleshoot complex, technical solutions within a Hybrid Cloud Environment
- A proven track record of successfully designing Microsoft Azure solutions with a strong background in Azure and Office 365 Services and Toolsets
