Job description
An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Practice Client Manager to join a growing accountancy practice in Southampton. This is a brand new position within a modern and dynamic accountancy practice. The role has come about through success and growth of the firm and will offer uncapped progression and full exposure of the main accountancy service lines.
Working in a small team, you will manage your own portfolio of clients, managing all their accounting needs across accounts, and tax. You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships, and bringing new clients into the practice.
This is a fantastic position within a lovely, modern and dynamic practice who work with up and coming businesses in the local south coast area.
Key duties include:
* Full management of a portfolio of clients.
* Maintaining and developing client relationships and introducing new clients to the practice.
* Accounts preparation for sole traders, LLP, and partnerships, and limited companies.
* Debtors and creditors management and reconciliation.
* Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns.
* Prepare accounts up to trial balance (Sole trader, partnership & limited company)
* Produce final accounts, adjustment of accruals and prepayments
Essential criteria:
* Prior experience working in an accountancy practice is essential.
* Previous experience working directly with a client base.
* Qualified or newly qualified with ACCA or ACA.
* Excellent communication skills and the confidence and ability to liaise with clients
* Experience working on accounts for limited company's LLP's, sole traders, and Partnerships
