Job Duties:
- Develop and implement commissioning strategies and plans for engineering projects.
- Oversee the entire commissioning process, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and lead a team of commissioning engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimise project delays and budget overruns.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and health and safety guidelines.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify the functionality and performance of commissioned systems.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as design and construction, to optimise project outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to commissioning activities, including reports, test results, and technical specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager or similar role in the engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, methodologies, and best practises.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to analyse complex technical information and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning roles within the engineering industry.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep understanding of engineering principles and practises.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certifications in project management or commissioning.
Working Conditions:
- Work in an office and on-site environment, with occasional travel required.
- May need to work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
- Adherence to health and safety guidelines is essential.
