Job Description: The Civils Supervisor role is a contract position based in the Lake District, focusing on telecoms network projects with an emphasis on reinstatement and compliance for remedial works. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that works are carried out and completed within the limitations of the permit.
  • Experienced in carrying out inspections/auditing field operatives in safety procedures, specification and legislative compliance, and performance.
  • Lead an effective team, ensuring that resource is fully utilized, and any contact demand is effectively covered.
  • Monitors individual employee & contractor performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Proactively isolating and identifying areas of improvement – driving resolve.
  • Using workflow management tools and processes to report daily site progress, defects, and site issues.

Skills Required:

  • Valid SA001 and SA002 qualifications.
  • NRSWA supervisor ticket.
  • Experience working on the Openreach network / PIA.
  • Background in civils and rural delivery environments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to conduct inspections and audits effectively.
  • Proficient in using workflow management tools.

Salary (Rate): £38.75/hr

Civils Supervisor (NRSWA / SA001 / SA002) Contract role for 3 months + Based Lake District £310 per day plus accommodation covered This is a contract role for a civils supervisor and is expected to last through the Summer of 2025 as a minimum. It's a telecoms network project and the key for this is reinstatement and compliance for remedial works. It's a civils role with that background being key, but you will need experience of working on the Openreach network / PIA and need a valid SA001 and SA002 - this is essential, as is the NRSWA supervisor ticket. You'll be managing the contract partners who are doing the civils, and prior experience of working in a rural delivery environment would be important.

Duties and responsibilities:

This is an on patch role, Monday from 8am through Friday afternoon until 1600pm. Accommodation will be covered Monday night through Thursday night but we are looking for people that live within realistic commuting range, who can get there no problems for that start on the Monday morning and also, then get home at a reasonable time on the Friday evening. You'll need your own vehicle and cover your own petrol from the day rate. Role has been deemed outside IR35 so you would be working on a LTD company basis.
