Chief Enterprise Architect - Financial Services - Contract

My client a top company are looking for a Chief Enterprise Architect to join them on a 6-month initial contract based in their offices in London 1 or 2 days a week. Please note this role will be paid via an umbrella company / PAYE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse enterprise strategy and business context to derive technical architecture based on ITA proposed strategy.
  • Analyse the legacy technology environment to design an efficient integration solution, detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
  • Oversee and consult on technical architecture (for example, systems) implementation and modification activities (for example, projects), for new and/or shared infrastructure solutions which delivery is responsibility of third-party vendors
  • Exposure to enterprise scale technologies for example, SAP, Salesforce, Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, Contact Centre, Web/Mobile Digital solutions, Cloud (AWS, G Suite, Azure, O365), DWH and related integrations.

Key skills & experience:

  • Financial Services experience - essential
  • Working in a true Enterprise Architect role (covering Business, Data, Technology, Applications, Security domains)
  • Designing solution based on IaaS, SaaS, PaaS platforms (Office365, AWS, Salesforce, etc..). Microsoft stack would be advantageous.
  • Managing complex integrations with pre-selected technologies and making these work.
  • Experience of 3rd party design
  • Working Knowledge of Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF/BIZBOK) and EA Tools
