CATIA CPD Aerospace Designers - Filton, UK (Hybrid working).


Our Aerospace Client has been engaged to provide design and build services to a customer for prototype Electrical vertical take?off/landing aircraft.
They will design and build the wing, empennage and boom structures, as well as design and fit the Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS).


We required 2 contract Design Engineers skilled in CATIA CPD ( Composites Product Design) design tool, for 3 months of activity, with possible follow work for an additional 3 months. You must have good CATIA CPD Knowledge and Usage.

You must be currently living in the UK, holding the rights to work in the UK for these roles. Starts within the next three weeks.

Tasks will include:

• Integration of systems to be performed on wing, empennage, and boom structures.
• Design of structural detail parts, assemblies as necessary.

But may also include:

• Design of structural detail parts, assemblies and systems integration supporting.

Each task will require the resources to coordinate between or client's internal, Structures and Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems (EWIS) Teams ,as well as the external customer and partner stakeholders, to gather the necessary information to complete their tasks.

Part of these activities will include populating the digital mock?up (DMU) with standard parts (click bonds etc.), as well as any designed brackets and supports that may be necessary.

Delivery of activities will require some physical attendance at our Client's  facilities in Filton UK, for key meetings and design reviews, although an element of hybrid working  is considered to be acceptable.

Therefore candidates must be prepared to travel and spend time locally in Filton, UK.
