Summary: Ventro is seeking a Carpenter for fire door installations at their site in Banbury, preferably someone local. The position is self-employed/sub-contractor based, with a start date of February 7th. The role requires experience in fire door installation and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation of new fire doors
• Make good of door installs
• Measurement of doors/frames
• Appropriate use of all materials, tools and resources
• Ensure quality and standards of work are high
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met as well as best practice standards
• Undertaking any training necessary for the role
• Ensure all work is evidenced through our HILTI app

Key Skills:

• Basic DBS Check
• Carpentry NVQ (or relevant qualification/experience)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Previous carpentry experience; specifically fitting fire doors
• Valid CSCS card
• Willingness to travel
• Access to smartphone in order to update the HILTI app
• Be Asbestos-Aware, and preferably first aid
• Provide own battery-powered tools
• The applicant’s company must hold Public Liability Insurance
• Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
• Good full past work references / portfolio
