Business Programme Manager - engineering / manufacturing / merger / business process / ERP / relocation - is required by highly successful manufacturing business.

10 days per month, 6 - 12 month contract, OUTSIDE IR35.

The key focus of the role is to manage and oversee the merger of two companies within the group. This will involve business process consolidation, relocation of a manufacturing site and an ERP implementation. You will also deliver change and improvement projects across the business for a number of value streams and customers.

 Key responsibilities will be to: 

• Lead projects through the project life cycle, typically managing multiple projects at any one time


• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of projects


• Partner with engineering, quality and supply chain to optimise right first time


• Provide a tight control on costs, staying within budget and driving cost optimisation


• Communicating progress to the business


• Ensure all contractual obligations are clearly understood and executed

The successful candidate will:

• Have project and programme management experience gained within a manufacturing and engineering environment


• Have good commercial awareness and be confident interacting with customers


• Have the ability to influence manufacturing operations activities


• Effectively manage change and transition


• Be able to deliver multiple requirements to demanding timescales
