Key experience and responsibilities:
- Experience as business architect in Wealth and Asset Management
- Financial Services practitioner or SME level domain knowledge in Wealth and Asset Management.
- In depth understanding of Financial Planning, Investment Management, and Investment Risk Management
- In depth understanding of Professional Services
- Degree from a reputable university.
- Value proposition identification and development including launch of brand-new products & services to market.
- Experience in Op Model transformation including org design and large-scale automation of divisions, departments and functions.
- Able to quickly understand and document problem statements, value chains and OpModels using industry frameworks & standards, working high to low, including but not limited to policy, procedures and processes at whole org or sub-org levels.
- Able to independently own design problems and statements front to back without support, engaging, stakeholders, SMEs, product managers, BAs, Solution Architects to achieve the required Business Architecture outcomes.
- Competitor and market scanning of key developments, including but not limited to, trends, legal, regulatory, etc
- Able to segment client propositions and books and identify growth & cost saving opportunities.
- Identify and define high-level business and customer requirements and change roadmaps.
- Work with the other domain architects to explore specific solutions and define the scope of the project.
- Help define front to back performance goals and metrics for the proposed solution.
- Review prototypes, solution blueprints, and project scope to ensure client and colleague needs are being met.
- Run and facilitate the Design Authority forum and ensure client and colleague needs will be met by proposed change and solutions.
- Provide thought leadership and oversight to Business Analysts and Service Designers, identifying value add options and solutions.
- Excellent engagement with stakeholders and able to run workshops independently and coordinate as part of a wider team.
- Able to write white papers in area of expertise.
