TrinIT Talent are looking for a Business Architect to come on board for a 6 month contract working in London and remotely. This role falls Inside of Scope of IR35 and is paying 600 per day.
Recent Experience
- Recent experience working as a business architect on significant business outcomes is mandatory.
- Ability to take the lead on business architecture engagements whilst working in collaboration with a mixed team that could include architects, business analysts, and other business & technical staff.
- Demonstrable experience of interacting with business and technical stakeholders, possessing the credibility to influence, negotiate, and challenge prevailing thinking.
- Demonstrable experience of being able to lead on knowledge sharing and presenting business architecture outputs with other teams across an organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and oral.
- Familiarity working in Matrix management structures both in reporting line and delegates, possessing the ability to motivate, empower and mentor a successful team.
Areas of responsibility include:
- Ability to adjust the structure/formality of an engagement based on requirements.
- Work closely with executives to understand their vision, the business strategy, mission, goals and objectives.
- Interpret and contextualise the strategy including both internal and external views and inputs from across the organisation.
- Develop concrete domain/enterprise wide multi-year routemaps that incorporate capability based planning approaches.
- Define strategies, principles and standards to guide business architecture efforts across the organization.
- Develop an enterprise understanding of the core and supporting capabilities of the business, including the people, information, assets, processes, and systems involved.
- Work across business and technical teams to ensure technology investment decisions deliver on business outcomes.
- Ensure potential initiatives align to the overall business architecture.
- Model strategic investment options to inform the change agenda.
- Support and contribute to the development of the business architecture community of practice.
- Develop the target state and roadmap for operating models supporting changes to the Technology department and align it to major business change projects and their operating models.
- Identify interim states and evolution to the target state of these operating models.
- Identify dependencies and alignment between the Technology operating model and operating model changes associated with major business change projects.
- Support production of Technical views of the Operating Model including across Data, Systems and Infrastructure.
- Ensure alignment with other relevant frameworks and models (eg Risk, Benefit, Cost, Change, etc.) and link the various frameworks and models into one integrated approach.

- Developing and enhancing the organisation's capabilities to achieve strategic objectives and stay competitive
- Providing a clear understanding of the relationships between business elements, leading to informed and effective decision-making
- Streamlining business processes and operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise resource utilisation
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with business operations, ensuring better risk management and compliance with regulations
- Creating a flexible and adaptive business structure that can respond quickly to changes in the market, industry, or internal factors.
- Improving organisational awareness and understanding of how different components and processes contribute to overall business success.
