Location: London (Hybrid - 1-2 days per week).
Duration: 3 months (Rolling).
Type: Contract (Outside IR35).
Rate: Circa 470 per day (neg on exp).
Company and role for - Software focused Business Analyst:
Our client is a global marketing and information services business. We are currently helping them to bring on an experienced Business Analyst. In this role, you'll be a crucial part of a transformative project focused on re-platforming their subscription-based website and restructuring their backend integration (Marketo & Salesforce) into a fully integrated Enterprise solution.
This contract falls outside of IR35 regulations and has flexible hybrid working setup of 1-2 days per week in their London office (near Holborn). This is a 3 month rolling engagement, which could likely roll for some time.
Key responsibilities for - Software focused Business Analyst:
- Lead the mapping of business processes, ensuring comprehensive understanding and optimisation of workflows.
- Craft detailed user journeys for the User Management System, improving user interactions.
- Manage content production flows within the Content Management System, streamlining content delivery.
- Engage in in-depth discussions with business stakeholders, third parties, and technical staff to gather and clarify requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis exercises to identify disparities between existing processes and desired outcomes.
- Translate complex requirements into user stories, flow diagrams, and functionality matrices, facilitating communication between business and development teams.
- Help host and facilitate workshops to promote collaboration and align stakeholder objectives.
- Close collaboration with the project team.
Experience required for - Software focused Business Analyst:
The Must-Have s:
- Proven experience in the software industry as a Senior Business Analyst.
- Proficiency in mapping complex business processes with an emphasis on optimisation.
- Demonstrated ability to create user journeys that enhance user experiences.
- Adept at conducting gap analysis and providing actionable insights.
- Skilled in translating requirements into user stories, flow diagrams, and functionality matrices.
- Capable of running workshops to drive collaboration and generate valuable insights.
The Nice-to-Have s:
- Familiarity with Salesforce, a plus in the project context.
- Previous experience with Content Management Systems.
- An understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
- Experience with migrating multiple systems into a unified platform.
- Ability to assess requirements and identify opportunities for optimising multiple requirements through a single generic function.
