Business Analyst - Inside IR35

Contract Term: 8 Months

Contracting Authority: NHS Blood & Transplant.

Location: Hybrid Remote & occ. travel to London, Birmingham or Bristol for meetings.

 

NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) are implementing a new Cloud based Marketing Automation Tool (MAT). The new MAT will integrate with existing NHSBT systems and follow a strict Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) in ensuring delivery of the MAT.

The project requires business analysis capability, data analytics and reporting expertise, ideally with experience of MAT or similar enterprise-scale software platform implementations involving integrations and data flows. Experience of similar implementations within a regulated and / or quality assured environment would be beneficial.

 

As a Business Analyst your main responsibilities will include: 

  • Employing a range of tools & techniques to gather business & user requirements against the clear objectives articulated for the project.
  • Employing a range of tools & techniques to model & define data / data requirements.
  • Utilising knowledge & experience of business analysis in testing.
  • Facilitating collaboration & leading effective communication with stakeholders to support design, build & delivery.
  • Completion of & contribution to SDLC artefacts to ensure the right knowledge is transferred to the relevant teams during the project lifecycle.
  • Producing a number of artefacts & presentations that will enable teams to build the feed from NHSBT Data Platform (NDP) to the Marketing Automation Tool (MAT), setup data integrations & complete acceptance testing of development environments.

 

You ll have relevant experience in:

  • Demonstrable Business Analysis experience, inc: requirements elicitation & documentation, user stories & acceptance criteria.
  • Implementation of a Marketing Automation Tool essential.
  • Data definition documents.
  • Business Analysis input & contribution to High-Level & Low-Level designs & Testing Deliverables
  • Interface Specifications for MAT, data platform, CRM & other systems.
  • Knowledge handover & transfer relating to SDLC artefacts & contribution to deployment, training & support artefacts e.g. knowledge base articles.
