Tate are working with a leading energy supplier for the UK to bring in a Business Analyst on a new project. They are looking for someone with an abundance of experience within this role to join the team and hit the ground running. Please feel free to apply and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyse, and validate stakeholder requirements, transforming these into detailed, actionable user stories.
  • Take ownership of the backlog, prioritising and refining work items to ensure they are clearly defined and accurately estimated.
  • Conduct and facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and focus groups, to gather comprehensive insights.
  • Lead process mapping and gap analysis exercises to identify areas for improvement or automation.
  • Work in close collaboration with the Scrum team, clarifying requirements and actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Utilise Azure DevOps for documentation, management, and tracking of requirements within the Agile lifecycle.
  • Serve as a crucial bridge between business and technical teams, fostering effective communication and a shared understanding of project objectives and deliverables.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated prowess in business analysis, with a track record of successfully eliciting and documenting requirements for complex business and technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • In-depth experience with Azure DevOps for, requirements tracking, and facilitating collaboration in Agile settings.
  • Exceptional communication skills, coupled with the ability to lead discussions and extract vital information from a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in a variety of requirements gathering techniques, including user story mapping, business process modelling, data flow diagramming, as well as process mapping and gap analysis.
  • Experience in leading and contributing to Agile ceremonies, nurturing a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within teams.
