Business Analyst - Workflow Automation System
Hybrid - 1 day a week on site in Chester
220 per day outside IR35
Initial 6 month contract
Our client, a renowned company in the Insurance industry, is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Change Management department. This contract job opportunity offers an exciting environment for professionals to work on an implementation of a new workflow automation system.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
* Evaluate existing workflow processes and identify areas for improvement through automation.
* Analyze business needs, workflows, and data to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
* Design and document solution requirements, including process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories.
* Work closely with development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality workflow automation systems.
* Participate in testing and provide support during system implementation and user training phases.
* Monitor system performance, identify issues, and provide recommendations for enhancements or modifications.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to workflow automation systems.
Key Skills:
* Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
* Proficient in creating process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred skills:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of workflow automation systems and their implementation in business environments.
* Experience working in the Insurance industry is preferred.
