Overview:

My Client, a well known utilities company is seeking a skilled Agile Business Analyst to join their dynamic team and contribute to the improvement and automation of processes across multiple departments. This is a crucial role that requires a strong character, exceptional communication skills, and expertise in Agile practices, with proficiency in Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities:

Elicit, analyze, and validate stakeholder requirements, transforming them into detailed, actionable user stories.

Take ownership of the backlog, prioritizing and refining work items to ensure clear definition and accurate estimation.

Conduct and facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews, and focus groups to gather comprehensive insights.

Lead process mapping and gap analysis exercises to identify areas for improvement or automation.

Work closely with the Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Utilize Azure DevOps for documentation, management, and tracking of requirements within the Agile life cycle.

Serve as a crucial bridge between business and technical teams, fostering effective communication and a shared understanding of project objectives.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated prowess in business analysis, with a track record of successfully eliciting and documenting requirements for complex business and technology initiatives.

Demonstrable knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

In-depth experience with Azure Devops for requirements tracking and facilitating collaboration in Agile settings.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions and extract vital information from a diverse range of stakeholders.

Proficient in various requirements gathering techniques, including user story mapping, business process modeling, data flow diagramming, process mapping, and gap analysis.

Experience in leading and contributing to Agile ceremonies, nurturing a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within teams.
