6 months rolling contract, Hybrid Working (London)

Bench IT require an experienced Business Analyst to join a large programme starting ASAP on a long-term project. This is a hybrid working role working 2 days per week in the city of London. This is for a BA to help deliver a project around data risk assessment.

The successful candidates should have the skills and experience included below:

  • Strong BA experience
  • Experience working in Asset Management/Investment Management/Wealth Management
  • Work closely with global business to co-ordinate completion of Data Risk Assessments
  • Assess completed Data Risk Assessments for Data Risks
  • Work with the business teams to help assess their use of data and ensure the right level of controls are applied for the consistency and integrity of data to meet business need and mitigate data risks
  • Maintain data risks in the risk registers and escalate where needed.
  • Support Data Risk global team deliver data compliance aligned to the Data Risk and Data Governance Framework
  • Work within the global Data Risk team and support the global team across data governance, data audit priorities.
  • Drive and manage agreement of business requirements and technical requirements with the relevant business and technology teams
  • Validate resource requirements and cost estimates for analysis and other deliverables
  • Escalate risks and issues to project manager in a timely manner
  • Extensive experience in Financial Services/Investment Management, preferably within Data/Data Risk
  • Experience in running workshops with different business and technical stakeholder
  • Structured approach to analysis and documentation
  • Experience of full project life cycle
  • Skills in data analysis (understanding macros, scripts, queries to profile data and determine its data quality)
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment with agile development capabilities and toolsets - Jira and Confluence
