p>Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a National Housing Association who are looking to recruit a temporary Building Safety Surveyor to cover their South East patch. The role is paying 32 - 35 per hour for an initial 3-month contract with strong possibility of becoming permanent.

Building Safety Surveyor Housing Association About The Role:

  Responsible for managing a range of local and regional projects to ensure that the organisation meet all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements for the delivery of fire risk remediation works and associated building safety works.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage the delivery of fire door surveys and compartmentation surveys and liaise with the Health and Safety team to ensure understanding of the risks inherent in its buildings around fire.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure that all aspects of CDM 2015 requirements are managed and met both from a client and contractor standpoint

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure that projects are inspected and completed in the most efficient way

  
  

Building Safety Surveyor Housing Association What You Need:

• 
  

  Knowledge of Fire regulation and Building Control regulations associated with residential accommodation and social housing.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience of managing risk assessment and safety inspection processes and procedures across housing stock

  
  


• 
  

  Understanding, in depth knowledge and experience of project and contract management
