As an External Assessor, you will be required to assess and document learner competence against qualification standards, using the stated assessment methods. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assessing and documenting learner competence at centres or remotely.
Applicants must meet the essential criteria:
- Assessor qualification (D32, D33, A1, or TAQA units)
- Although not essential, the ability to speak, read and understand written Welsh would be advantageous.
- Live in Wales or have good transport connections to Wales
- Must have an understanding of Welsh qualification requirements
- Must be available to work in Summer 2025
Training for the role will be provided following the successful review and vetting of your application. External Assessors are contracted on an annual basis and are not directly employed by the City & Guilds Group, making it an ideal opportunity to become an External Assessor in addition to your current role.
