Summary: The BMS Engineer role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining Building Management Systems (BMS) components and equipment in North London. Key Responsibilities:
- Installing, configuring and maintaining BMS components and equipment, including sensors, controllers, actuators, and software systems.
- Carrying out maintenance checks on Trend, Tridium, and Distech BMS's on various sites.
- Participating in a reactive call-out rota with additional financial benefits for being on call and attending.
- Providing specialist technical assistance and support to clients regarding their BMS systems.
- Identifying opportunities for improvement/remedial works to enhance BMS performance for clients.
- Preparing proposals and quoting for works as required.
Key Skills:
- City & Guild / BTEC / NVQ Electrical qualifications.
- Extensive knowledge & experience of BMS / HVAC systems.
- Knowledge & experience with Trend, Tridium Controls/Niagara/Distech/Siemens.
- Excellent working knowledge of the electrical industry.
- Ability to read and interpret Electrical & Mechanical schematic diagrams.
- Understanding of IT networks.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Controls training / experience.
- Experience with fault finding in electrical panels.
- DBS vetting and potential BPSS vetting.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
