Description:

Device engineering team is part of NC and focusing on devices’ battery development, electrical design and safety. Engineering team is responsible for material characterisation, technical requirements and providing solutions for actual implementation. Team is also responsible for technical problem solving and failure analyses.

Device engineering team needs technical resources for battery material and design investigation, device and battery verification, sample preparation and functional problems solving. Resources are needed mainly in the safety and reliability lab to support battery and device validation activities within NC engineering

Role:

Supporting battery and device engineering team in validation work.

Candidate shall be capable to run material characterization equipment, battery and device reliability verification equipment, create a test procedure and write a testing description when needed. Hands on work needed on a various measurement equipment and test systems. Specifying test plans, test cases and analysing results to ensure the functionality and reliability of the product and its batteries.

Essential Skills:

• Hands on experience on various reliability measurement equipment and test systems.
• Charge/Discharge battery testing.
• Degree in; chemistry, materials science, physics, chemical engineering, electronics engineering or similar
• Experience in : materials characterisations techniques; X-ray diffraction, SEM, X-ray CT Basic knowledge and understanding of batteries, ceramics, polymers, metalogy, crystallography
• Capable knowledge with consumer electronics validation, product safety and battery validation is benefit.
• Some contemporary knowledge with consumer electronics failure analyses.
