Senior Azure DevOps Engineer:
Our client is a multinational IT specialist who are currently seeking a talented Azure DevOps Engineer. As an Azure DevOps Engineer you will have a hands on influence in the rollout of platform expansions.
Requirements
You should demonstrate that you are able to meet some, or all, of the following requirements:
- Carry out advanced troubleshooting and recovery activities on CP platform and liaises with assisting teams to get the issue resolved.
- Hands on support of future expansion and rollout covering platform activities.
- Assist with upskilling of associate DevOps Engineers as part of project and support activities.
- Work closely and integrate with internal teams, current suppliers and support model.
Mandatory skills and experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Gitlab CI/CD Pipelines: YAML syntax, Stages and jobs, Runners, Artifacts and Caching, Integrating Testing tools such as PyTest and Selenium, Environment Variables & Secret management, Debugging pipelines, Gitlab API.
- Experience with Azure cloud services / Azure DevOps: Azure Resource Manager, Az CLI, Azure VM creation and management, Azure networking and security, Azure Databases, Azure Cache for Redis, Azure Storage, Monitoring and Logging.
- Current and or previous experience of Terraform, specifically: IaC concepts, State Management, Resource management, Use of Modules, Terraform CLI syntax and Cloud providers.
- Expectional knowledge of Linux Administration & Use: RHEL, Alpine, Shell/Python scripting, Kubernetes and Kubectl CLI functions, Prometheus and Grafana.
