Azure DevOps Engineer

My client a leader in their field is currently hiring for an experienced DevOps Engineer with Azure to join their expanding team on a freelance contract basis. Working on a number of exciting projects this position will be the perfect opportunity to work for a leading financial services company assisting them with their large scaled digital transformation.

Sheffield - 3 days' a week onsite on a 10months + contract basis.

Requirements:

• General understanding of Network Infrastructure basics such as DNS, DHCP, Firewall and Load Balancers
• Knowledge in Azure Security services (Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, Azure Defender, NSGs and others)
• Knowledge in Azure Networking (VNets, Traffic Managers, Azure Firewall)
• Knowledge in Azure Monitor (Platform and VM monitoring, alerting & visualisation), Azure Network Watcher, Logic Apps
• Experience (hands-on) with Windows and Linux administration
• Knowledge in at least one Scripting or programming language
• Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken

Desired:

• Experience with Infrastructure as a Code technologies
• Experience configuring web Servers (eg IIS, Nginx, Apache)
• Experience with PowerShell automation
• Experience with Solr or Lucene
