Job title: Auditor/Accountant

Location: Chester/Hybrid

Duration: 12 months initially

The Role:

We are looking for experienced auditor or qualified accountant with previous internal or external audit experience (eg Big 4) preferably in financial services or a finance environment.

Responsibilities:

• The role involves supporting the delivery of internal audits as part of the EMEA Enterprise Control Function Corporate Audit team.


• The role involves working as an individual contributor and as part of a team on audits that are typically regional in nature, reviewing processes, risks and controls and performing independent testing.


• Perform high-quality audit test execution.


• Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the projects' objectives and planned audit approach.


• Engage with business stakeholders to agree on potential issues / control gaps.

Requirements:

• Qualified / part qualified accountant or experienced Auditor (internal or external) preferably with experience of financial audits or financial services.


• Ability to work in remote teams and execute and document assigned work to high quality standards and timeframes.


• Good written and presentation skills


• Stakeholder mgt skills


• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, analytical skills and professional judgement to influence business partners, management and peers.


• Demonstrate professionalism and competence
