Client Details
The client is highly recognised in the not-for-profit sector and have a small, friendly Finance team. Hybrid working is on offer with the requirement to be in the office one day a week.
Description
The Assistant Finance Business Partner will:
- Produce the month end reporting for budget holders and the core reports which feed into the reports provided to the executive team and the Board
- Produce daily and monthly cash flow forecasts
- Provide input to the month end with responsibility for ensuring the management account journal, accruals and prepayments, amendments and service charges are recorded correctly and therefore the reporting produced is accurate
- Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, forecasting, budgeting, payroll, development payment approvals, reporting for Development, other ad hoc general accounting duties as required
- Assist in budget setting
Profile
The Assistant Finance Business Partner will be/have:
- Ability to analyse business/financial information and present it for the purpose of monitoring and decision-making
- Experience of using financial systems and Microsoft Office with an ability to learn in-house systems
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with accruals and prepayments
- Excellent communication skills
- Immediately available
