AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS TEST ENGINEER

NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITH A LEADING AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE COMPANY FOR AN AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS TEST ENGINEER

• 35/ph inside IR35


• Initial contract until 31/12/2024


• Onsite in Broughton


• 35 hour working week


• Overtime available at a premium rate

WHO WE ARE?

We are a globally recognized Aerospace and Defence company, looking to employ an Aircraft Systems Test Engineer to support the testing of the aircraft through the manufacturing process, investigating issues identified, and act as the liaison between Design & Operations in resolving them. This is a technical role that involves office-based work but also requires physical inspections on the aircraft.

WHAT WILL THE AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS TEST ENGINEER BE DOING?

• Ensure the configuration of the aircraft is maintained to the latest design standard during embodiment of modifications, design changes, & repairs.


• Dealing with queries that are of a Mechanical/Electrical bias that are raised by Operations and finding a solution on the aircraft in conjunction with Design.


• Creating and updating BVTI s, BVRI s, GTI s and RTI s.


• Creating Material masters for new part requirements and extension for maintained parts.


• Ability to work across Disciplines Electrical, Structures, Hydraulic and Fuel Systems, etc

WE NEED THE AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS TEST ENGINEER TO HAVE .

• Experience providing shop floor and engineering support


• Interpretation & understanding of engineering drawings


• Knowledge of aircraft structure or systems installation & test.


• SAP APD and PEA planning of manufacturing instructions & bill of materials (desirable)


• The ability to go through a BPSS check
