Job Title: Agile Coach
Location: Remote, occasional commute to Bootle, Liverpool
Salary/Rate: £550 per day INSIDE IR35

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our high profile Government clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Agile Coach to join their team for a six-month contract.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Lead on the provision of Agile Coaching for DDaT roles where applicable
2. Engage and communicate with a range of stakeholders and audiences building credibility quickly
3. Provide effective communication within teams, across teams and in a larger community of practice to facilitate difficult discussions and Agile ceremonies
4. Ensure that Agile principles are adhered to whilst being pragmatic about practices
5. Providing enthusiasm and engagement to be the point of contact of Agile for individuals and teams
6. Establishing the Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) community
7. Lead on the establishment of an overarching community for digital, data and technology (DDaT) utilising job families to create a profession. This will be the Government Digital Service (GDS) DDaT Profession
8. Grow the DDaT community to build appropriate learning and development opportunities for DDaT professionals of all levels and backgrounds
9. Analyse existing digital roles to determine an assessment of current gaps within the community
10. Champion capability improvement across the entire community to attract and retain talent and increase effectiveness of delivery
11. Develop assets which will support in making decisions on key skills and resources.
12. Lead on DDaT community communication, engagement and collaboration including provision of community events, intranet content and collateral to bring the community and job families together

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Public sector experience
2. Hybrid agile coach and take ownership of DDAT
3. Agile Coaching / Scrum Master
4. Waterfall (prince)
5. Experience in Agile Delivery - Good track record as an Agile Coach coaching multi disciplinary Agile teams or in-depth proven experience of working within scaled Agile environments delivering successful outcomes
6. Experience in training teams in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean principles
7. Communication - You can adapt your style to clearly convey your message. You can break down and clearly articulate complex issues to drive a wider understanding
8. Working within constraints - You know how to influence, coach and can anticipate change, knowing where to challenge and quickly remove barriers and barriers to progress
9. Experience of taking products through GDS service standard assessments
10. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to understand, empathise with, negotiate and influence individuals and groups
11. Excellent organisational and facilitation skills
12. Previous agile coaching for Data role
13. Stakeholder management
14. Effective communication / Lead on the established DDAT

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:

1. Previous government experience
