Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council are currently looking for a qualified adults Social Worker to join an assessment team. This is a hybrid role paying 35 per hour.
The Role
Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Adult Social Care is seeking to engage a number of Social Workers to undertake Care Act and Carer Assessments for residents who are currently waiting for their assessment to be completed.
Initially contact will be by telephone to ascertain whether initial presenting needs remain and to determine whether needs could be met by alternative provision . If initial contact determines that assessment is required, It is anticipated that for Care Act Assessments, this will require a visit to the individual's home. For carers, assessment could be by telephone or home/community visit.

Essential Requirements
- Social Work Qualification - Degree
- Experience as a social worker within adult social care teams
- Social Work England Registration
- Driving license and access to own vehicle
