Quantity Surveyor - to join a steel specialist company operating across the UK and internationally. The company is renowned for safely delivering high-profile work, including collaborative projects like the London Olympic Stadium Transformation. Are client is utilising high-quality offsite fabrication, and highly skilled on-site teams, they have expanded its sector reach and delivers solutions to a wide range of complex projects including bespoke requests.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in Quantity Surveying and will be responsible for working within a well-established team to ensure the work load is managed appropriately, positively influencing the efficiency of the business. The role will be primarily office based however will include the occasional site visits.

Quantity Surveyor Position Remuneration
- Salary: 40k - 50k
- Probationary Period 6 months
- Salaries are then reviewed on an annual basis

- Attend client meetings
- Liaise with other members of the team to ensure cohesion on projects
- To provide a full quantity surveying/commercial function and to contribute to the delivery of the annual budget.
- Subcontract document review, negotiation and agreement of formal contract documents.
- Continual commercial support and advice to contract management / work winning teams.
- Primarily based in the Cardiff office, however there is potential options for working from home after probation
- 2 plus years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Good experience of civil engineering, steel or construction
- Professional individual, motivated to develop business relationships
- Estimating Experienced is preferred but not essential
- Happy with nationwide travel
