An IT Consultancy client is looking for a skilled and experienced 3rd Line Network Engineer to join our their team on a contract basis, providing on site support for a public sector client. As a 3rd Line Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing network infrastructure. If you have a strong background in Cisco technologies, coupled with expertise in WiFi networking, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for network infrastructure issues.
• Design, implement, and maintain Cisco-based networking solutions.
• Configure and manage WiFi networks, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network enhancements and upgrades.
• Monitor network performance and security, proactively addressing issues to minimize downtime.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical issue resolution.

Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 experience in a 3rd Line Network Engineer role.
• Proficiency in Cisco networking technologies and solutions.
• Strong experience in configuring and troubleshooting WiFi networks.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, and switching.
• Relevant certifications (eg, CCNP, CCIE) will be a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
